Brief Overview
This project provides historical and future weather data up to 80 years ahead, using government datasets like UKCP18, CORDEX, and others. The tool features an interactive map where users can place a pin to choose any location and request climate data. Data requests take a few hours to process, ensuring accuracy by drawing from high-quality government sources. Once ready, data is displayed in a detailed table format, with an option to download it as a PDF report.
My Role
As the primary front-end developer for this project, I was responsible for designing and building 80-85% of the user interface independently. This involved creating a seamless, interactive experience that includes map-based data selection, efficient data displays, and a user-friendly download option. My work focused on crafting an intuitive layout, ensuring responsiveness, and implementing complex UI elements to handle large data sets effectively.
